What We Believe. How We Build.

We started here because we have been here before

CommerceKing did not start as an idea on a whiteboard. It started from a decade of building ecommerce platforms the traditional way. Our founder, Brent Peterson, built and sold Wagento, a Magento/Adobe Commerce solution integrator. Five-time Magento Master. Adobe Commerce Partner. Hundreds of platform builds.

That experience taught us what works about traditional development and what does not. The builds take too long. The costs run too high. The handoff process leaves clients dependent on the agency that built their store. We wanted to fix all three.

AI powers the development. Humans manage the delivery.

This is the core of everything we do. AI is not a feature we bolt on. It is the primary development engine. But AI without human oversight is a demo that breaks in production.

Our certified developers plan the architecture before AI writes a line of code. They review every output. They test every feature. US-based project managers run every engagement. The AI accelerates the work. The humans ensure the quality.

We spend more time planning and reviewing than we do generating code. That ratio is intentional.

You own everything we build

When we deliver a project, you get 100% of the code. No proprietary frameworks that lock you in. No licensing traps. No hidden dependencies on our systems. Standard frameworks, documented patterns, clean handoff.

If you want to bring development in-house or switch to another agency, you can. We do not build dependencies. We build platforms.

Your code stays private

We never publish client code publicly. We never use it to train AI models. We use AI tools under enterprise agreements that contractually prohibit using your code for model training. Your proprietary logic, business rules, and implementation details stay yours.

Private repositories with role-based access. Isolated environments between clients. No shared infrastructure. When an engagement ends, we transfer full ownership to you.

You do not have to use AI

Not every project needs AI in the workflow. Some clients prefer traditional development with certified developers writing every line by hand. Compliance requirements, internal policy, or simple preference. All valid reasons.

We offer the same certified developers, the same code review process, and the same project management structure with or without AI. The quality is the same. The timeline may be slightly longer. The decision is always yours.

One team. One invoice. Four capabilities.

We built LoopStack because ecommerce businesses should not need four vendors to build, fill, grow, and maintain a store.

Build: platform development, migrations, integrations. Fill: product descriptions, blogs, brand content. Grow: outbound campaigns, email sequences, lead generation. Automate: AI-powered workflows that tie it all together.

One team handles all of it. One invoice. One relationship. Every engagement starts with Build, and the other three pillars make the relationship ongoing.

Transparency is not optional

We are transparent about who does the work. Our development partner, Evrig, is led by Vijay, who Brent hired as a Magento developer in 2013. Vijay rose to lead all development at Wagento and achieved Magento Masters recognition. After Brent sold Wagento, Vijay founded Evrig. A decade-plus working relationship.

Clients know who is building their platform. That is a feature, not something to hide. Trust is earned over years, not promised in a sales deck.

Platform-agnostic means honest advice

We work across Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Shopware, WordPress, and Astro. We do not push one platform because we get a referral fee. We recommend the right platform for your business.

That means sometimes we tell a prospect that Shopify is a better fit than Adobe Commerce, even though Adobe Commerce projects are larger. The right platform for your business is the one that serves your customers and scales with your growth. Not the one that maximizes our invoice.

What this means for you

If you are evaluating development partners, here is what you should expect from us:

Honest platform recommendations. A clear plan before any code is written. Certified developers who know your platform. A US-based project manager who picks up the phone. Full code ownership on delivery. Transparent pricing with no surprises.

We built CommerceKing around these beliefs because we have seen what happens when agencies cut corners. We have been on the other side of those projects. Our clients deserve better. That is what we deliver.
